This registration is for Williamsport Tournament team tryouts for age groups 10, 11, and 12u.

The Williamsport team for each age group will be selected by the Manhasset PAL Baseball Travel Director. It is a highly selective team, even more so than our travel teams, and the pool of players for each team includes younger eligible players.

The tryout dates/times/location; age requirements; residency and participation requirements; and commitment requirements are as follows:

TRYOUT DATES/TIMES/LOCATIONS

12u tryouts

5/15 from 6:00 to 7:30 at Manhasset Secondary School softball field OR 5/17 from 6:00 to 7:30 at Valley.  A player only needs to attend one of the two tryout sessions.

11u Tryouts

5/18 from 9:00 to 10:30 at Valley.

10u Tryouts

5/18 from 10:30 to 12:00 at Valley.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

For 12u, all players must be born after 8/31/2012.

For 11u, all players must be born after 8/31/2013.

For 10u, all players must be born after 8/31/2014.

All players must provide proof of age in order to qualify for the tournament.

RESIDENCY AND PAL PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

All players must: (1) live within the Manhasset Little League district; (2) attend one of the schools within the district: or (3) have a valid reason for playing for Manhasset (as in the town you live in does not have a proper Little League team).

Only players that played for Manhasset Little League during the spring PAL season are eligible and the player must meet the games played requirement for the season (50% of games played).

All players must provide proof of Manhasset residency or school attendance in order to qualify for the tournament.

COMMITMENT REQUIREMENT

All players must make this tournament and team their primary activity during the tournament which starts in late June, runs into July, and if the team advances can continue for the entire month of July.
